Osamu Tezuka (手塚 治虫) was a 60 years old (at his death) japanese scriptwriter, story designer, penciler best known for the manga Metropolis published in 1949 and the manga Astro Boy published in 1952. He was born on Saturday, November 03, 1928 (he was Scorpio) in Toyonaka, Osaka in Japan and died of cancer on Thursday, February 09, 1989 in Osaka prefecture in Japan.
