Definition of Lemegeton


The Lemegeton, also known as the Clavicula Salomonis Regis, or The Lesser Key of Solomon, is an anonymous treatise on ritual magic focused on demonology. It was compiled in the mid-seventeenth century, mainly from materials written two centuries earlier. The grimoire is divided into five sections, the Ars Goetia, the Ars Theurgia-Goetia, the Ars Paulina, the Ars Almadel, and the Ars Notoria.
