Definition of Man-eating animals

Man-eating animals

Man-eating animals are wild animals that hunt human prey in order to avoid starvation and thus survive. They sometimes do as they are injured or disabled and can not access their regular prey for food. They play an important role in the literary and horror movies because, unlike monsters, these predators exist and their eating habits are well documented on television channels, which increases psychosis, although there much less chance to meet one day a man-eating animal than a serial killer.
Some of the most prolific franchises using the theme of man-eating animals are; Jaws, Anaconda and Lake Placid.
